Purpose of the JobThe primary objective of East Hub IT Project Manager Role is to facilitate the successful execution of Projects related to SAP & integrated satellite systems (e.g. PPM, SFA, WMS etc.) for countries like Romania and Bulgaria. This involves meticulous planning, strategic prioritization and strong communication across stakeholders. The role demands a holistic approach to project management, emphasizing not only technical proficiency but also effective stakeholder engagement and alignment with organizational objectives. You will be representing the liaison between technical teams (both internal and external), Group / local management and final internal business users. IT Project Manager Role for East Hub will be reporting to Group PMO Lead and will have dotted reporting line to GMs in both countries that falls under its responsibility. Responsibilities: Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, for projects being executed in Romania and Bulgaria markets Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, schedule, and budget constraints Manage project risks, issues, and changes, proactively seeking solutions and escalations as needed Coordinate IT activities related to SAP & integrated satellite systems (e.g. PPM, SFA, WMS etc.) change initiatives, including infrastructure, development, interfaces, testing, data load, working in close collaboration with both internal and external specialized technical teams Solve problems, prioritize deliverables, and manage project scope in collaboration with business internal stakeholders Provide technical and analytical guidance to project members concerning new processes / scope introduced, based on needs Engage and communicate effectively with local stakeholders to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables Act as point of contact / escalation for project-related activities and facilitate regular updates to both local and group stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the region and leverage group resources for local projects Ensure proper allocation and utilization of resources (people / financial), considering both local and group needs Work closely with the group PMO to adhere to standardized methodologies, tools, and practices Contribute to the development of PMO guidelines, templates, and frameworks to promote consistency across regions Share insights, lessons learned, and best practices from local projects to help drive continuous improvement within the group PMO Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability Provide regular reports on project progress, milestones, and KPIs to local and group-level stakeholders Utilize project management tools and PMO platforms for tracking, documentation, and reporting Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement Provide training and mentorship to local project teams, sharing best practices and PMO standards Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Strong experience in understanding FMCG industry related processes Proven experience as Project / Product manager for SAP R3 / S4 Projects (or similar ERP products), with a strong understanding of local regulations and business environments in at least one of the two countries in scope Strong communication skills in English (required) Native speaking in RomanianAbility to work collaboratively across diverse, cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder Demonstrate a robust and persuasive communication approachAbility to quickly diagnose issues and suggest solutionsAffinity and ability to dive into technical detailsDemonstrated experience in working within a PMO framework and aligning with global PMO methodologies is a plusPMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus
