As an IT Project Manager, you’ll set the direction—defining project scope and methods, aligning global teams, and ensuring every milestone lands with precision. Your tasks:
- Responsible management and coordination of IT activities for international projects focusing on the IT Solutions area. This includes defining the project scope, scheduling and effort planning, including cost-benefit estimation, risk assessment, stakeholder analysis as well as initiating and monitoring procurement (including external resources);
- Determining the appropriate project management method and organization and selecting IT project team members (in compliance with LEONI standards);
- Managing internal and external project participants and stakeholders in all matters, e.g., expectation management, information and reporting, change management;
- Identifying necessary project adjustments with regards to defined objectives and manages their implementation. Ensures, that change requests are evaluated against overall project objectives and the corresponding project plan;
- Close coordination with the business stakeholders and project managers regarding project decisions and implementation within the defined time, budget and expected quality and ensuring appropriate follow-up;
- Creating and presenting project progress reports as well as project documentation.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a project manager working with cross-functional and international teams on multiple IT projects simultaneously (Technical understanding of PLM and ESM systems represents an advantage);
- High level of resilience, independence, and ability to prioritize your own capacity;
- Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of classical tools (MS office) and agile project methods and tools (e.g. Jira, Microsoft Project);
- Advanced analytical skills paired with strong communication skills, networking and problem solving approaches across all hierarchical levels, in a global setup;
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad, collaborate with support teams and have a positive and flexible attitude;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory; German language skills are a plus.
