Could you be the full-time IXL Electrical Application Design Engineer in Bucharest we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll be part of the Installation Design team in the Engineering Department and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates. You'll be responsible for designing full process and documentation for trains update to new ERTMS system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, especially with colleagues from France and much more. You’ll specifically take care ofthe interaction of electrical and electronic equipment with its electromagnetic environment, and with other equipment's (EMC), but also installation procedures and processes. We’ll look to you for: Support the Domain team leader; Understand and read logical schematics Produce the Installation Electrical Schematics (E3S) Support installation team during prototype phase ; Ensure the respect of all the electrical design constraints of each solution; Perform survey on site (inside the train) and define the technical solution for electrical connection; Report any failure of the electrical installation or system solution during the train fitment in order to address the change in short term period; All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Bachelor's degree in engineering school / university, specialization or oriented in electrical design Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, and electronical components Knowledge of cables/wires section, connectors Knowledge of different type of signals (Ethernet, Power, GND, Negative, etc). Knowledge of the interaction of electrical and electronic equipment with its electromagnetic environment, and with other equipment's (EMC) Knowledge of railways is an asset. Knowledge of E3S / AUTOCAD ELEC is an asset. Experience in installation process Knowledge of Installation Procedure is an asset Writing skills: clarity, rigor, and concision English is mandatory, German and/or French language is a plus Team spirit and communication skills; Open to multicultural team; Rigor and open-minded; Autonomy and perseverance; Goodwill and proactivity Availability to be on site during Train surveys and prototype installation (various period of time).
