Junior Accountant in Bucuresti

Apply for our position and be part of our Finance department! This role requires you to work from our Bucharest office with some flexibility to work virtually on some occasions (after the first 6 months). What the day will look like You will support our Technical Accountancy team with the following tasks:Reviewing invoices issued for our clients and doing accurate booking in the accounting systemRecording online bank transactions and preparing documents for the bankPreparing bank treasury reports and supporting the reconciliation of general ledger accountsTracking and resolving outstanding payment issuesPreparing monthly and quarterly statutory and tax reporting to fiscal authorities & to ASF (regulator for insurance and brokerage companies)Delivering various other reporting tasks (audit and statutory reports; adhoc reports for CFO control purpose or business needs; National Bank and Statistic Institute reports)Support on implementing the local procedures requirements for internal compliance and for transfer pricingMonitoring contracts in cooperation with business and CFOContributing to the implementation of various financial projects Skills and experience that will lead to success University degree in Finance, Economics or in other relevant fieldFluency in English language (written and oral)Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Office programsAccurate and structured working stylePro-active and service-oriented attitudeAbsolute integrity with high professional and ethical standardsGood communication skills (written and oral)Knowledge of local accounting principles in insurance brokerage would be an advantage How we support our colleagues Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential.
