Junior GIS specialist in Bucuresti

International IT company Intetics is looking for talented professionals to join our most stable GIS team. For more than ten years, we have been creating digital navigation maps for one of the world's leading mapping services, used by millions of users every day.     The main responsibilities are working with spatial data: collecting and updating data on power lines, poles and voltage lines to users.   We expect from the candidate: • Attention to detail • Good spatial thinking • Confident use of a PC • Ability to work both in a team and individually • Ability to monotonous work • Willingness to work and earn • cartographic, cadastral or related specialty or GIS work experience (geographical education would be an advantage) • Understanding GIS and the interaction of its elements • Experience with GIS software products (QGIS/ ArcGIS/GlobalMapper/etc) • Knowledge of QGIS tools - digitization, basic operations with geometry and attribute tables, understanding of working with layers (local, databases, web services).   Preferably: Proficiency in English at the Pre-Intermediate level and above We offer: • Gain experience working on a project with one of the largest businesses on the market • Work in a young and creative team •Flexible work schedule • Minimal bureaucracy • The best start in an IT company and development in the GIS direction • Contribute to the history of GIS Benefits We provide career growth with increased pay: $350-$400 (1-6 months) $400-$500 (6-12 months) $500-$600 (12-24 months)
