We are hiring a hands-on software developer (3+ years experience) to join our Romania team and grow into a ServiceNow developer/technical consultant. No prior ServiceNow experience is required—we will train you end-to-end on the platform and give you structured opportunities to contribute to EU and international delivery projects.
You will work in a real consulting environment: building solutions, learning best practices, and gradually owning deliverables as your platform skills mature—supported by senior architects in Greece and the wider Qualco Group.
What you’ll do
- Learn ServiceNow development fundamentals through a structured onboarding plan (platform basics, configuration, scripting, workflows, integrations);
- Implement user stories and enhancements under guidance (forms, business rules, client scripts, flows/workflows);
- Assist in building and maintaining project configurations and environments (development, test, release);
- Contribute to integrations with external systems (APIs, data imports/exports) as your skills develop;
- Produce delivery documentation and participate in sprint ceremonies (Scrum/Agile exposure is a plus);
- Use Empedus’ AI Infused Project Delivery assets (accelerators, prompts, templates, delivery playbooks) to improve speed, quality, and consistency;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience;
- Strong fundamentals in at least some of the following:
- JavaScript (highly preferred), TypeScript, or another modern language
- Web concepts (HTTP, REST, JSON), APIs, integrations
- Databases and data modeling concepts
- A “builder mindset”: curiosity, clean implementation, and strong problem-solving;
- Comfortable collaborating with international teams and clients in English.
Nice to have (not required)
- Any exposure to ITSM/ITIL concepts;
- Experience with enterprise platforms (ERP/CRM/BPM/low-code);
- Agile/Scrum experience.
