Lead Developer – Process Automation & Data for Finance About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Organization SE CFO Business Unit Accounting & Controlling Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The Lead Developer Process Automation & Data – in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and data solutions to streamline finance processes and enhance data management, based on a broad technology portfolio. Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to:Design and develop automation solutions: Utilize your expertise in various automation tools and technologies, such as workflow support tools, RPA tools, reporting platforms, and data services, to create efficient and scalable automation solutions for finance processes.Technology integration: Bring together different technologies and platforms, including UiPath, Mendix, Snowflake, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, SQL and Python, to develop comprehensive automation solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to standard design principles and conventions.Technical implementation: Identify and communicate technical requirements, configure new UiPath processes and objects, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.Documentation: Create and maintain solution documentation, including design specifications, technical guidelines, and user manuals, to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.Testing and quality assurance: Develop and document test procedures and scenarios for pre-user acceptance testing (UAT) phases. Collaborate with operational teams during UAT and rollout to ensure smooth implementation and resolve any issues or exceptions that arise.Performance and availability management: Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of key applications and systems involved in the automation process. Identify potential bottlenecks or limitations that could impact automation efficiency and work towards their resolution.Exception management: Manage and investigate business and system exceptions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures to maintain system integrity and accuracy.Role RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.Experience (4+ years) in automation development.Proficiency in automation tools such as UiPath, Mendix, or similar platforms as well as reporting environments.Strong coding skills, with hands-on experience in languages such as SQL and Python.Understanding of business processes in finance and the ability to analyze and optimize them for automation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Who is Siemens Energy?
