Get to know our Team :
The SRE team is responsible for getting things to production in the most efficient and fastest way possible. We architect solutions, tools and platforms around provisioning, configuration, CICD, monitoring, SLA, performance and uptime. Our team is passionate about the details and we work very closely with a wide range of stakeholders.
Get to know the role :
Work closely within the teams to provide efficient solutions to outstanding issues and prevent a recurrence.
Proactively manage Grab’s infrastructure and optimize its performance
Manage and develop automation of code deployment for our products
Work to continue and improve data security across the company development and production environments
Design and improve production systems architecture
Define our technical culture by actively encouraging DevOps culture and practices
Write documentation for processes and tools
The must-haves:
Preferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields
Solid experience (5-10 years) with Linux and Windows environments (administration, advanced networking, security)
Solid experience with containerization technologies (e.g Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g Mesos)
Solid experience with implementing and improving CI/CD processes (build & deployment pipelines)
Experience with cloud solutions (Azure preferred) and virtualization technologies
Experience with infrastructure automation & provisioning tools (e.g Terraform & Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
Experience in DB administration, ELK stack
Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools
Experience with managing and monitoring CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Enjoys scripting in languages like Python and Bash
Fluency in English is a must
