For more information, visit .OLX Group is looking for an open-minded Legal Counsel to join our growing legal dream team! As a member of our team, you will oversee the legal aspects of our business in Romania. You will deal with a variety of legal topicsWhat will be your responsibilities when working with us?Support business operations, including drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements end-to-end in coordination with the relevant team and in cooperation with other legal functions and teams as needed;Give accurate and timely counsel to the local business on a variety of legal topics (e-commerce, personal data, labour law, corporate, taxation etc.);Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights;Facing legal problems that are often not answered by the law;Providing legal advice on a variety of issues; Support local procurement in achieving back-to-back contracts with local suppliers and subcontractors, as needed;Defense our brand against online and offline infringements; Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance;Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues;Present with your attitude and work that a lawyer is not only an expert in law but above all, a great advisor and reliable partner;Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authorities, NGOs etc.);Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and local authoritiesWhat will you need to be successful in this role?Qualification: Qualified lawyer in European relevant jurisdiction;Previous working experience as a Legal Counsel or associate with +5 years, preferable in e-commerce, IT, TMT, online marketing, or related spheres;Previous experience of working with Romanian clients will be considered an advantage;Excellent knowledge and understanding of civil, corporate, IP law and procedures;Self-organizational and time management skills;Ability to work with masses of information and to switch between different projects and areas of legal support;Languages: English and RomanianDemonstrable excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial sense on risk & reward; detailed oriented combined with strategic advice mindset;Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, business oriented, can-do attitude, driven, committedWhat can we offer you?A chance to grow your career in one of the biggest eCommerce companies in Europe,An opportunity to have an actual impact on the processes and tools used globally among the Legal teams within the entire organization,A chance to work with a committed and diverse team in a multinational environment,An opportunity to learn how to manage workload, improve your effectiveness and efficiency,A high degree of autonomy as OLX believes in empowering people,Work in one of the best offices in Bucharest,An open selection of trainings and e-courses including MyAcademy and Udemy,Annual Bonus plus benefits such as Health Insurance and flexible benefits packageA BIT MORE ABOUT USCheck our careers website Discover why you should join the OLX Group Check out our talent, product, engineering and design blogs Follow us on We encourage people of all races, ethnicities, disabilities, ages, gender identity or expression, backgrounds and experiences to consider applying for this role.
