Linux and Infrastructure Engineer in Bucuresti

Role description Perform system administration activities, such as deployments, configuration, system monitoring, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting; Propose and implement physical infrastructure; Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents; Assist with Helpdesk functions as needed, such as responding to tickets, managing: Linux servers and Infrastructure and/or; Virtualization solutions and/or; Cloud solutions Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot our internal and client technology assets. 1 week/month - 24/7 on call, paid extra Profile Linux: 5+ years hands-on experience in managing and Linux systems Linux systems administration (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery); Linux applications (ex: nginx / apache / Docker / DNS / Postfix); Infrastructure 5+ years hands-on experience in IT infrastructure/hardware implementation and adminstration (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting); Experience with one of the following medium and enterprise business solutions: HPE / DELL/ LENOVO; Experience with storage equipments Experience in implementing and managing virtual machines using VmWare; Would be a plus: Experience in an entreprenurial work environment; Hands-on experience with CISCO UCS and Dell Storage Systems.
