What you`ll do:
Coordinates the activity of engineers and process technicians within the autonomous production unit for which he is responsible
Is responsible for achieving the performance indicators of the fabrication process for which he/she is responsible as well as for achieving the performance objectives of the autonomous production unit corresponding to the sub-function coordinated, for compliance and application of all Garrett system and operational procedures, policies and know-how
Responsible for performance review, development measures for his team, according to GEM, Code of Conduct, customer requirements cf IATF and in general acc. to all local and global policies Garrett Advancing Motion
Detailed Responsabilities:
- Coordinates the activity of technological engineers and process technicians within the autonomous production unit.
- Coordinates the projects of increase, standardization, improvement and reduction of costs according to AOP and according to the objectives and indicators established at process level and at the level of autonomous production unit.
- Proposes the investment program on processes in order to consolidate the Annual Operations Plan (AOP) for the autonomous production unit of which it is part.
- Follows the installed capacity compared to the production volumes, identifies the capacity increase needs and coordinates the purchase of equipment in this direction.
- Defines the theoretical capacity of the equipment.
- Coordinates the activity of drawing up the technical specifications for the new equipment and for the improvement of the existing ones.
- Participates in the realization of technical specifications for new products.
- Responsible for monitoring and improving OEE and RTY indicators.
- Proposes and implements solutions to improve technological processes, quality and productivity.
- Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of factory performance: constantly identifies opportunities to eliminate losses and proposes solutions to improve its own activity and the factory.
- Coordinates the activity of reception, implementation and homologation of equipment.
- Coordinates the activity of installing new products and provides support for their approval.
- Participates in the assessment of manufacturability risks for new products.
- Ensures compliance with the technological process and other established rules.- Coordinates the activity of defining the layout of the machines and the optimal production flow.
- Coordinates the elaboration of the work documentation specific to each equipment (work instructions), and provides support for the elaboration of the operations plan.
- Follows and validates the list of production consumables and provides support to the purchasing department for identifying suppliers.
Defines and communicates to the quality manager (process) within the autonomous production unit - the systems and devices for preventing operating errors (including Pokka-Yoke).
- Defines, updates and communicates to the process quality and maintenance managers within the autonomous production unit (APU), the list of devices that generate critical product ratings.
- Coordinates the schooling activity for the new equipment within APU.
What we need:
Education: Technical Degree;
Minimum 3 years in a similar position
