This role is responsible for successful business development and market penetration in the territory of Romania through effective sales strategy by providing leadership to the Sales team. The goal of this role is to position our business favourably for growth and gain market share versus the evolutions in healthcare industry and competitive trends. The success of this position is largely influenced by the incumbents ability to lead internally, work closely with Stryker peers and maintain long-lasting, stimulating and trustworthy relationshipsDetailed tasks:To develop account-by-account strategies in order to ensure we are able to supply the highest level of service support to the customer baseSet up an effective process with the support of the Country Manager to identify and select potential new customersTo undertake assessments of profitability on an account-by-account basis to identify and communicate the priority accounts in order to ensure adequate investmentsTo maintain regular high level personal contact with stakeholders and clinic teams as well as purchasing staff in established and potential centres in order to understand their specific needs and therefore develop value added programmes for the clinics - differentiate from competition and help customers do their jobs betterTo implement successful product introductions in the territory as defined by marketing strategies ( Country AMP)To plan according to AMP and coordinate the annual marketing activities (relevant training workshops, symposia, conferences, etc) for the regionTo assess the competitive threat to Stryker within the region and implement pro-active tactics in line with the strategic plan to counter the threatsTo regularly analyze the decision making process for Stryker products and determine actions required to ensure Stryker's activities and investments are adequate in each market segmentTo continually assess all aspects of healthcare developments and national pricing and funding process and determine areas of influence for StrykerTo develop the annual budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the Country Manager and ensure budgets and expense targets are adhered to accordinglyMonitor performance against budget and to undertake corrective action where necessaryActively participate in, and contribute to, the Compliance Committee Meetings and functionEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policiesImplementing & controlling compliance initiativesRecruit, train and develop RSMs and have a final input on each new / backfill sales head countSupport Country Manager in providing leadership and coaching to the extended Stryker team in Romania when necessaryCollaborate closely with local and EEMEA functional leaders to communicate business issues and identify timely solutionsParticipate in key projects related to operating model and improving business efficienciesAct as an active memeber of the local management team and take part in management meetings
