Join our dynamic Gas Services Distributed business, where you will take the lead in performing non-destructive testing (NDT) and dimensional inspections on components for gas turbines and packaging modules. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, ensuring that inspections align with specifications while technically and formally reviewing all accompanying documentation. Your role will often take you to supplier locations, where you will identify and articulate any deviations from supplier results in clear technical terms, effectively communicating these discrepancies and coordinating necessary actions with our cross-departmental team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsibility for the preparation, execution, and follow-up of non-destructive tests and dimensional inspections on components of gas turbines and packaging modulesSupplier qualification, development and active participation in the quality improvement of suppliers and purchased partsAvoiding quality problems by developing preventive measures for suppliersMethods for quality assurance and analyzing the causes of defects and initiating appropriate corrective measures together with suppliersImplementation of preventive SQM methods and risk management in supplier-related processes, projects and productsInitiating, monitoring and actively pursuing corrective and preventive actions for suppliersProactive collaboration with a global team and internal partners What You Bring
Completed technical education, mechanical engineering, CWI, CWE or similarCertified to ASNT, ISO9712 or similar in VT, MT, PT and UT to at least Level II required, LT desirableSeveral years of relevant professional experience in the NDT of LSF componentsProfound knowledge in the application of quality methods, such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCAA team player with good collaboration and communication skillsMS Office applications, SAPBusiness fluence in EnglishUp to 60% travel nationally and internationally, hybrid working with 3 days in the office if not travelling
