Discover your Bergenbier experience as a ON Trade Development Manager As the Channel Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing the execution of yearly trade marketing plans. Your goal will be to increase customer and shopper/consumer preference for the Bergenbier portfolio in line with our brand strategies. This is a key position that directly impacts our brand's success in the market.   More about your role: o    Develop a trade marketing strategy and budget that aligns with the overall branding and marketing strategy. o    Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop Channel Strategy, considering regional market differences, company priorities and brand strategies.  o    Develop and execute nationwide trade marketing and customer engagement campaigns, creating POS materials and promotions. o    Flawlessly execute all trade marketing and customer engagement activities o    Ensures that Shopper insight is considered in all commercial decisions. o    Contributes to developing the product portfolio and manages each new launch. o    Develop focused trade strategies for a category in each key account and trade channel. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with brand positioning and the potential of the accounts/channels. o    Ensure full understanding of changing trade dynamics and development in the beer industry to recommend effective channel & sales strategies that will give the Company a competitive edge. o    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of in-store promotions to determine whether these meet the Company's objectives. o    Analyzing market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize channel strategies. o    Manage the budget allocated and ensure optimize and maximize the investment in the market.  Drive a continuous cost optimization mindset with team, agencies, and sales. o    Brief the directions/concepts/activities to third-party agencies and supervise the development and implementation. o    Ensure alignment with other departments: Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, Revenue Management, etc. o    Visiting the sales points regularly to understand the market better and ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected. Leadership Skills: o    Help team members grow by coaching and guiding them. I make sure we have regular discussions about their Personal Development Plans (PDPs) so that they can achieve their goals on time.  o    Provide appropriate recommendations for the integration of talent programs and succession plans.   This role is crafted for you if have:  o    Completed higher studies, preferably in Marketing or Management o    Minimum 5 years’ experience working within the HORECA channel , showcasing a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics and customer needs. This includes direct involvement in sales, marketing, and operational aspects, efficiently servicing clients across the hospitality sector. o    At least 3 years’ experience working in Trade Marketing ON Trade and at least 1 year in Sales Dep. o    Demonstrable record of success in a customer-facing role, with a clear understanding of the selling process o    Strong analysis skills for generating recommendations and working with data. o    Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint o    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o    Innovative spirit, creative and pro-active o    A good team player o    Good interpersonal skills, creativity, and initiative o    Understands shopper behavior. o    Understand essential business functions. o    Ability to motivate and develop people. o    Advanced English language skills   Join for the brands, stay for the people.
