THE ROLE
As an Oracle Applications DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing our Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) and Oracle Database environments as part of the Apps DBA team. You will ensure platform stability, performance, and security, while supporting system upgrades, deployments, and business continuity initiatives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations, optimize configurations, and contribute to continuous improvement of our enterprise systems.
OPPORTUNITIESYou will:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle E-Business Suite environments (PROD and non-PROD).
Manage database and application backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Data Guard.
Execute environment cloning and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Perform daily system health monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager and SolarWinds.
Manage patching activities across all eBS environments (12.2 and above).
Participate in system upgrades and enhancement initiatives, including application migrations.
Support deployment and lifecycle management of CEMLIS applications.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable integrations with third-party systems.
Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and operational excellence. SKILLSYou should have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8–10 years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
Strong experience with Oracle Databases 12c and 19c.
Proven experience migrating eBS from 12.1 to 12.2 (minimum 1 full project).
Minimum 4 years experience managing 12.2 production EBS environments (administration, monitoring, cloning, patching).
Hands-on experience installing and maintaining Oracle databases on Linux/UNIX.
Experience managing Oracle middleware technologies such as WebLogic.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL, RMAN backup, and performance troubleshooting skills.
Shell scripting knowledge (Unix/Linux).
Experience with secure system integrations (sFTP, SSL, .
