The below responsibilities are applicable from the Adviser / SME position, the person who'll take this role will not do hands on operations on the databases, but will advise the Development teams and SysDBA teams in their work:Main responsibility is that the database platform meets the operation requirements of the bankEnsure the platform is compliant with the internal IT policies and proceduresExploration of initial Oracle database requirements and architecture, following the recommended practices in the industryDesign, creation, and evolution of documentation related to Credit Risk databasesSupport capacity planning for the Credit Risk Oracle database estateWork closely with domain/data architects and support engineers to ensure optimal design of database structures to support dashboards, reporting and analytical datasets for Credit Risk reporting and AnalyticsManage stakeholder expectations through regular and transparent communications of status and risks, issues and dependenciesExhibit and drive agile behaviors across a global team with focus on understanding and delivering business valueMinimum 3 years' experience with Oracle databases ani experience. Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.Configure, maintain, and operates Oracle 12c/19c databases.Good knowledge about operating systems: Linux (Redhat, OEL) and hardware environments: Exadata, HP, DELL.Provide support for database related issues - performance and troubleshooting, security, and auditingGood knowledge about database backup and restore (e.g., Oracle RMAN), database export and import (e.g., Data Pump)Knowledge about high availability and disaster recovery solutions for databases (e.g., Oracle RAC with ASM, Oracle Data Guard)Provides support for patch, upgrade and migrate operation for existing databasesTakes part actively in SQL query development and tuningDesign, develop and automate tasks using scripting tools (bash)Has knowledge in using administrative and monitoring tools (OEM Cloud)Takes part in projects which requires non-productions databases administration, configuration and maintenance.Understanding of Data Warehousing Design Methodology, Data Warehouse Concepts, Database design/architecture is a plusExperience building and working with continuous integration, deployment and automated test environmentsRigorous, resourceful, adaptable with good attention to detail and strong project ownershipPractical knowledge of Git, JIRA, Bit Bucket, Team City and uDeploy toolsStrong written and oral communication, interpersonal and organization skills.Join our Development Centre in Bucharest and become a member of our open-minded, progressive and professional team.
