A Snapshot of Your Day

You work in a team responsible for classifying products with relevant customs information and determining the origin of products.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Identifying the required information for customs classification and gathering this information from systems and/or colleagues of the relevant departments such as engineering, R&D and other technical areas.
  • Analyzing and classifying goods according to customs regulations and taking into consideration technical attributes required for the classification process.
  • Analyzing trade documents from suppliers, associations and other relevant market players to properly identify and document the county of origin of products.
  • Calculating and determining the country of origin (preferential and non-preferential).
  • Monitoring and controlling those processes.
  • Setting the origin of the goods and customs preference calculation for SE products exported to states with which the EU has signed a preference agreement
  • What You Bring

  • We would like to get to know you, if you have a professional education or a degree from a university in preferably engineering or, trade, legal etc.
  • Your graduation from university or at least 1 year experience in the field of customs classification (customs tariff and (non/preferential) origin determination) convinces us to have found the right candidate.
  • First international experience (work in international teams, work abroad) is a plus.
  • Best case for you would be to have first experience in the work in customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP, MIC.
  • Technical knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent language skills in Romanian, as well as English are a must. German language skills would be a plus.
  • Negotiation, presentation, and assertiveness are attributes that describe you the best.
  • A quote of business travels of 5-10 % fits to your expectation of the job.
