Planner&Scheduller (Oil and Gas company) fixed-term contract in Bucuresti

The contract with be sign for 2-3 years with the possibility of extension. The planning & scheduling area covers the translation of a project’s technical scope, execution strategy and risk profile into the component activities, interrelationships and sequencing required for its delivery. The principles mentioned above apply to all types of projects and development stages. The different nature and level of project definition in each development phase needs a different level of focus, working methods, and techniques. The planning discipline comprises the processes, methods and tools required to establish and maintain the project baseline schedule.  The processes involved are: Identifying the specific activities that need to be performed to produce the project deliverables; Identifying and utilising dependencies between activities; Estimating the types and quantity of resources needed; Analysing activity sequences, durations, resource limits, and constraints to create a realistic baseline; Progressing, rescheduling, measuring performance and analysing the current position against the baseline in order to establish project status. Identifying problem areas, mitigating actions and the effect of scope changes to the project’s execution; Providing earned value and reporting and performance measurements against project baseline schedule i.e. trends, deviations, delayed construction, procurement and/or engineering deliverables; Cost monitoring & planned vs actual anaslysisRisk management – exposing the deterministic schedule to risk via a probabilistic modelling process. using the results of this analysis to de-risk the plan and schedule and establish focus on areas of risk; Facilitating schedule risk analysis workshops, quantitative modelling, and associated float recommendations and critical path analysis to the final project schedule; Coordinating deliverables from contractors and subcontractors - review, validate and incorporate contractor, subcontractor and third party engineering, procurement and construction schedules into the master project and measure performance according to baseline; Offering support in quantitative and qualitative risk analysis workshops.  The suitable candidate should have:Engineering diploma;Proven experience working in the same area required;3+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry (Upstream – in a planning & scheduling role);Experience in working with Primavera project management software;Experience in working with any Project Risk Tool (PRA, EasyTool represents and advantage);Experience in Offshore also constitutes and advantage. We offer a motivating package:Professional and friendly working environment;Training and on-going development opportunities;Exposure to challenging projects in various industries both local and international;Private medical services;Bookster subscription;7Card & Worldclass subscriptions.Powered by JazzHR
