Plant Process Engineer Team Lead About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Company Siemens Energy Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Project Entity Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your DayThe mission of our Plant Process Engineer Team Lead is to manage scope and technical interfaces, such as the integration of OEM components, and lead a (virtual) team in performing their individual tasks.How You'll Make an ImpactManage scope and technical interfaces (, integration of OEM components etc.), lead a (virtual) team in performing the individual tasksSystem design (piping and instrumentation diagrams P&IDs) for balance of plant systems ( water/steam cycle, cooling water, fuel supply, auxiliaries)Prepare affiliated documents , operational concept, P&IDs, system descriptions, application of design and calculation toolsDescription of corresponding system / plant operation, such as start-up and shut down concepts, safe operation under all operating conditions.Preparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentationParticipate in engineering and optimization of interfaces, responsibility in design review processReview contractors’ engineeringCoordinate the preparation of customer documentation/O&M ManualEvaluate customer specificationsDesign and calculation of water/steam power plant systems and auxiliary components ( pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, valves, pipelines etc.)Support of site activities during construction and commissioningClarification of process and mechanical related topics with customers, consultants, authorities, external and internal partners, suppliers.What you bring:Bachelor’s degree or higher in of process engineering or renewable energy systems orother related field More 5+ years experience in the power generation and EPC marketWillingness for training and further education in specific process engineering and management skills. Self-motivation with high energy drive and business sense. Advanced written & spoken English skills. As a team lead you should also bring mostly of the following, if not we will develop these skills together:Customer focus: capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environmentStrategic orientation with a detailed knowledge of products and power plant components, services and markets of industrial power plant & Combined Heat and Power solution business Intercultural sensitivity, in order to work in (virtual) international teamAbility to positively lead project teams to provide the best solutions regarding budget, quality and timeCapability to lead cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationallySkills to lead and motivate people, act as integrator within bid and execution teamsCapability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work processExcellent skills working with database preferably COMOSAbout the teamOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
