Your tasks Create and implement relevant category strategies for local categories; Perform supply market research for local categories; Perform operational supplier evaluations and derive countermeasures or initiate escalation; Introduce and adapt relevant processes; Maintain standard contracts; Conduct contract and price negotiations for local categories; Perform total cost analyses; Identify and realize potential savings; Manage and implement special projects on a case to case basis; Monitor and maintain global supplier pool; Perform material analyses / ABC-XYZ analyses; Execute RFQ process for local categories; Implement standardized SAP processes; Standardize material and supplier master data and implement processes globally; Ensure standardized methods for executing operational procurement activities; Assure the use of selected IT tools and investigate further IT tools, apps. Your profile Degree in engineering or business administration and/or at least 5 years of professional experience in procurement related functions, ideally in the automotive sector; Experience in supplier work; Team player, assertive, masters managing suppliers and indirect management within corporate structures, mobile; Experience with SAP and MS Office; Strength in strategic work and analyses; Very good command of English; Intercultural competence and enthusiasm.
