Platform Engineer in Constanţa

About the project We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team to manage and deliver Kafka, databases and other stateful workloads to engineers.  You would be a part of our client's team, which is improving their internal platform.   Our client needs a qualified person to run the new initiative which enables businesses to embed financial services products such as payments, deposits, point-of-sale credit and merchant cash advances directly into their customer journeys without the hassle of becoming a bank. So there is more like a start-up environment rather than a corporate one.   Teams will do most of their work remotely from home, coming together, in the office in Warsaw, at least twice a month to connect & collaborate with colleagues, what they highly value. What would you do Create solutions that enhance the developer experience and introduce new features through a self-service Platform rooted in Kubernetes Deliver changes to the platform in a controlled manner Design and implement solutions to increase the stability, resilience and security of our stateful platform Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well-tested and easy to maintain and extend   What we are looking for in the candidate's profile Operational experience of Kafka at scale Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform Experience of Kubernetes Be an advocate for containerisation and cloud-native solutions Excellent English skills (B2+)   And also would be great if you: have knowledge of Java and/or Go have experience with engaging positively with users of an internal platform have experience with creating and/or managing custom Kubernetes operators, especially those related to stateful workloads (Strimzi, Koperator, Confluent, Supertubes etc.)   What can we offer you Financial transparency:  the salary is:  30 240 - 35 280 PLN (180 - 210 PLN/h) Clear wage model.     Professional development support.  We subsidize trainings, technical certificates, conference participation, and foreign language classes.
