In your role as a Big Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous development of the Commerzbank central Hadoop Platform which is one of the foundations of Commerzbank 4.0 Transformation to a digital technology company.You take a role in an innovation-driven team, that will provide the key technology which is based on the modern Cloudera Data Platform and Data Flow. They are the base stack for our Data Lake and Analytics PlatformThis Software Stack needs to be scaled out in terms of size, amount of users, segments and use cases as well as technological enhancements to fit the requirements of our clients.What you will be doing? Rollout upgrades and changes of a configuration of services of the CDPAutomation of configuration of the Platform Ansible to provide a continuous scalable platformSupport Data Scientists and operative Use Cases Developers with their problems on your platformSolve challenges like how to embed modern technology into an existing infrastructureSupport Use Case Application Operation as 3rd Level SupportAlternative Tasks and/or (depending on demand)Support fully managed Data Ingestion solutions using tools like Self-developed Spark Frameworks, Apache Sqoop or Apache NiFi.You will support CI/CD workflows.Support Platform users and enable them for Self Service: instruct them on how to run jobs in a scalable environment, connecting Data sourcesWhich technology & skills are important for us?
