Prescription Sales Engineer ( North‑East area of Romania) in Suceava

The mission of the Prescription Sales Engineer role is to strengthen Schneider Electric's impact across the built environment and energy management ecosystem, by acting as a trusted technical advisor to design firms, consultants, and end-users, with a strong regional focus on North-East area of Romania. In this role, you will drive the technical prescription of a broad Schneider Electric portfolio, covering Medium Voltage, Secure Power, Low Voltage Switchboards, KNX and BMS solutions.
You will support partners throughout the full project lifecycle, from early design phases to tendering and implementation, ensuring optimal technical choices aligned with customer needs. By combining strong technical expertise with close collaboration across sales, tendering and marketing teams, you will contribute to digital transformation, enhance customer experience and build long-term partnerships across key market segments. What will you do: * Promote Schneider Electric solutions and systems to design firms, consultants, and end-users, covering a wide scope: Medium Voltage, Secure Power, Low Voltage distribution, KNX and Building Management Systems (BMS) * Provide technical advisory and design support for consultants and customers across electrical distribution, energy management, and building automation projects * Develop and promote segment-specific technical solutions (commercial buildings, data centers, healthcare, infrastructure, industry, etc.) * Participate actively in early project phases to influence specifications and technical concepts * Track prescribed projects in Salesforce and participate in regular pipeline and project review meetings * Collaborate closely with sales and tendering teams to prepare and validate technical solutions and offers * Work together with the marketing team to support mySchneider portal content, ensuring up-to-date technical information by solution and segment * Deliver technical presentations, workshops and trainings, including sessions in universities or partner events * Manage relationships with key design firms and consultants, acting as a long-term technical reference * Support cross-functional initiatives related to sustainability, energy efficiency, and digital solutions. What will make you successful: * University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation or related field * Minimum 3 years of technical experience in design, tendering, or implementation of electrical / energy management / automation solutions. * Solid understanding of Schneider Electric portfolio, especially in Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Secure Power and Building Automation * Good knowledge of electrical architectures, communication protocols and system integration * Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is considered an advantage. * Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships * Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Analytical, detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to work in a matrix organization * B driving license * Willignness to travel up to 30%.
