You should be experienced in networking and IT security – especially Intrusion Prevention systems, firewalls, and their performance. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile team, and be excited to demonstrate your skills using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Come energize your career and drive transformation as a senior member of the network security and remote access team.Career Level - Career Level - Your experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) is integral to success. You’ll design, build, and continually improve the security ability of those and related systems. You will need expert understanding of features, policy management, encryption, and log analysis. All candidates should be experienced with network virtual appliances in Cloud IaaS environments.Your ability to manage packet brokers, bypass switches, load balancers, and multiple firewall types will help meet the business needs for system reliability and performance. Infrastructure as Code will be used to build environments, so Terraform, Ansible, and/or related expertise is required.Additional experience administering VPNs is valuable to the role as part of the remote access team. Experience, education, and certifications: Seeking candidates with 10 years of IT security experience or 8 years with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field. Certifications help demonstrate the necessary knowledge to uphold Oracle network security. Cisco CCNP Security and ISC2 CCSP are valuable for this role.
