Learn more: Location: Bucharest, Romania Reporting to: Cluster Category Manager GSC Role: Temporary Procurement Specialist (Temporary, 2 years) What this position is about - Purpose: The incumbent is responsible for the purchase of products and services for assigned category according to company’s internal procedures, ensuring in the same time the quality required by the business partner and an optimal total cost of ownership. What will you do - Responsibilities: Performs spend analyzes, identifies the expectations of internal customers related to business’ objectives. Creates, updates and analyzes the Category Plan for the category he/she is responsible for, centralizes the results, makes proposals to improve them and sets a clear strategy. Searching for new suppliers, according to the departments’ needs in order to meet the quality, availability and optimal costs. Defines and monitors procurement actions in line with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles. Reveals suppliers with poor performance, sets and monitors the action plan to improve supplier’s performance. Identifies key suppliers that require further evaluation and attention. Defines actions to reduce costs and mitigates potential risks. Makes regular visits to suppliers, evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts. Ensures that the performance indicators are achieved in accordance with the required levels. The skills you’ll need: University degree or student in the final year of studies within University (bachelor / master degree); Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar position represents an advantage; Good communication & negotiation skills; Strong planning & organizing abilities; English knowledge (speaking, writing) – upper intermediate level; MS Office proficiency, especially (Excel); SAP or other ERP software knowledge – represents an advantage.
