 A Snapshot of Your Day 

Join us as a Product Owner in our PLM team and drive the development and implementation of a global Change Management Application for Product Lifecycle Management. You coordinate interfaces with other applications and work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. You actively support daily meetings and PI-Plannings, where you structure, prioritize, and coordinate the team’s workload to ensure efficient and value-driven delivery. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define and Communicate Product Vision: develop a clear product vision for the Change Management application that aligns with the solution spanning multiple applications and user groups. 
  • Regularly communicate this vision to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the team. Manage the Team Backlog: Create and prioritize the team backlog with user stories, defects, and enablers. Ensure that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by the development team. 
  • Participating in PI Planning: Actively engage in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions to present the product vision and roadmap for the Change Management application. Collaborate with other teams to identify dependencies and ensure alignment of features across teams. 
  • Develop User Stories: Write clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that reflect the needs of end-users and stakeholders. 
  • Backlog Refinement: Conduct regular backlog refinement sessions with the development team to clarify user stories, adjust priorities, and ensure readiness for upcoming sprints. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and team members to continuously improve the backlog. 
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Development Teams: Work closely with the development team during sprints to clarify requirements and provide guidance on user stories. Participate in daily stand-ups to stay informed about progress, address blockers, and adjust priorities as needed. 
  • Collaborate closely with product management and other stakeholders. 
  • Conduct and Guide Testing: Define test criteria and coordinate testing efforts with end-users to validate that the application meets their needs and acceptance criteria. 
  • Training and Onboarding: Support the development of training materials and conduct onboarding sessions for new users to ensure effective use of the application. 
  • What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Experience as product owner, ideally in an international and cross-functional environment 
  • General solid understanding of Change Management Processes 
  • Experience in application development using a low code platform Mendix 
  • Proficiency in English is essential 
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Solution oriented 
  • Willingness to work with an international (development) team 
  • Experience with agile working methods SAFe
