Product Sourcing Manager in Bucuresti

And that’s where you come in.This is an exciting role in the delivery, costing, and analysis of product components, material and manufacturing processes across Kingfisher and our banners (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot & Koctas).Ideally you will be a forward-thinking Product Manager or Group Buyer with experience on collaborating with the management team in communicating and implementing priorities for the buying office. You will work directly with the triangular team (Sourcing, Quality, Supply Chain) in developing robust and lasting relationships in order to drive better/more informed decisions.To be successful in this role you will:Drive the implementation of the vendor mapping within your footprint, through a combination of new supplier discovery activity, benchmarking and developing bears (alternative suppliers)Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors to deliver the product development and margin plansBe the Kingfisher point person for the vendors; responsible for ensuring their compliance to our policies and processes, such as Brand and Packaging, Audit and Factory AssessmentManage sourcing team activities & supplier selection in order to fulfil ranging demands at optimal price and volume whilst ensuring that the agreement is sustainable for all parties.Build the framework and the strategy of the negotiation through setting the target, objectives and the team direction to deliver the required margin from annual contract negotiations and cost price reduction/increase mitigation activities with the team.Skills needed to deliver within the role:Experience in sourcing/production for relevant categoriesAble to manage complex and larger scale projects or multiple projects with competing delivery schedulesNegotiation skills with proven results.Knows how to identify project risk and issue management in the context of a sourcing projectStrong knowdge of the manufacturing processes for the categoryUniversity degree in related field of Commerce/ Engineering/ Technical is preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word knowledgeCompetitive salary + benefits including -Company bonus, award-winning pension scheme and Bupa healthcare.We are passionate about our people, which is why we are committed to delivering 5 million hours of training by 2025!This is an exciting opportunity to join our global business.
