As part of our transformation projects for our clients in Germany, we are currently looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) with experience in providing full assistance to drive successful engagements and adoption of global initiatives and best practices, and with willingness to join a Company built on more than 20 years of proven experience at an international level over various industries and a wide range of activities.
Job Description
• The Project Management Officer (PMO) carries out missions of structuring and assistance in project management; he/she intervenes either directly in a project along with the Project Manager, or on behalf of a department for a transversal follow-up of the portfolio of projects
• He/She is responsible for deploying project management best practices (processes, tools, and documentation)
Responsibilities in Detail
• Monitors and reports contractual Project commitments (deliverables, planning, services level agreements, change requests)
• Monitors and reports financial Project commitments (costs, profitability, variances)
• Monitors and reports performance Project commitments (roles and responsibilities, staffing plan, quality assurance)
• Owns the Project quality management process (processes, tools, and documentation)
• Owns the Project risk management process (processes, tools, and documentation)
• Owns the Project staffing management process (processes, tools, and documentation)
• Prepares status progress about contractual, financial and performance Project commitments for internal monthly steering committees
• Prepares status progress about contractual Project commitments for client monthly steering committees
Skills and Specifications
• 2-year of professional experience in project management
• Project management knowledge and skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent command of the English language (verbally and in writing); C1 minimum level at Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR)
• Excellent command of the German language (verbally and in writing); C1 minimum level at Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR)
• Excellent knowledge and demonstrated know-how about MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project tools
• University degree or demonstrable equivalent
