About the role:
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Technical Proposal Engineer to join our Wireless Solutions team and develop technical skills, work with a variety of wireless technologies, and engage in global projects. This role offers the chance to build expertise in microwave communication systems, Point-to-Multipoint networks, Wi-Fi, and private 4G/5G networks. As part of our global team, you will gain hands-on experience working with advanced wireless technologies and collaborate with professionals from diverse cultural environments worldwide.
The Proposal Engineer is required to work closely with Worldwide Pre-Sales and support various back-office tasks for our Global Sales teams. These includes RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, network planning and cost-efficient BoM (Bill of Material) creation.
What will you do:
Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of microwave transmission systems, working closely with senior engineers.Support the design and solutioning of Wi-Fi and private 4G/5G wireless networks, gaining exposure to broader wireless technologies.Wi-Fi, and private 4G/5G wireless systems under the guidance of senior engineersDevelop accurate and error-free Bills of Materials (BOM) for various products, tailored to meet specific client requirementsSupport the pre-sales and sales team by helping to prepare technical proposals and presentations that address client needsParticipate in international projects, working with teams and clients across different cultural environmentsAssist in addressing technical inquiries from clients, providing support during various project stagesContribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including network designs and implementation plansContinuously build knowledge of wireless technologies, including microwave, Wi-Fi, and 4G/5G, through hands-on experience and training Job Requirements
What are we looking for:
BSc/BA Telecommunications/Computer Science or equivalent years of experienceUnderstanding of microwave communication principles, including link budgeting and path designExperience in wireless communication/networking marketRF path design, Carrier Ethernet, Traffic EngineeringInterest or foundational knowledge in Wi-Fi , 4G, 5G networksExcellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamBasic problem-solving skills, with a desire to learn and improveEnthusiasm for working in a global environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to different cultural contextsIt would be nice to have:
