Job role Deliver best in class service in Protection & Resilience for global customers, that fulfils regulatory and internal requirements. There are 10 domains under the governance of the Protection & Resilience program: Business Continuity Management (BCM) IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Crisis Management (CM) Global Incident Management (GIM) Protective Security Management (PSM) Information Security (IS) Data Privacy (DP) Outsourcing Procurement Information and Document Management (IDM) For this team we are looking for you: a Protection & Resilience Coordinator (Global) who has a background in a relevant resilience and/or security-related discipline as well as governance and / or project management. Functionally reporting to the Head of Protection & Resilience and the Operational Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating global P&R governance and preparing reports for management committees, managing projects to enhance preparedness, response, resilience, and security, supporting global crisis response operations, and raising awareness of P&R across our global organization. What you will do: Maintain an overview of all P&R activities being performed, and ensure related activities are being harmonized to prevent silos and work towards common goals. Consult and provide advice on P&R (business continuity / crisis management / protective security) across the organization, offering support where required. Update and maintain P&R programs to ensure the timely delivery of routine lifecycle activities and strategic projects. Prepare reports (via coordinating inputs from various P&R experts) for reporting to management committees / executive management / global response teams. Establish and maintain key performance indicators and key risk indicators for all P&R domains. Support senior experts in managing strategic projects and initiatives that build or enhance global P&R (business continuity / crisis management / protective security) capabilities. Support the strategic / tactical response coordinators with the response to local / global disruptions, emergencies, or crises. Chair and coordinate global and local P&R calls with our P&R network. Manage the P&R intranet page by ensuring it remains up-to-date with the latest news, information and documentation. Coordinate P&R awareness initiatives across Allianz Services. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practice relating to P&R. Other related P&R activities as required by the Head of P&R. What you bring: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in two or more of the following areas: operational resilience, crisis management, emergency management, disaster management, business continuity management, protective security, risk management, intelligence, analysis, project management, governance, strategy, business administration, or any related field. University degree in a relevant discipline, such as disaster / emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, economics, or any related field. Familiarity with communication and presentation tools (sound knowledge and experience in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint). Profound interest in protection & resilience-related topics. Motivated and highly committed to actively expand skills and topic expertise. International work experience (desirable but not essential). You have: Strong project management skills, ideally in an agile environment. Very good analytical and conceptual skills. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work objectives. Excellent influencing, written and verbal communication skills, that help our messages reach a diverse and wide audience. Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-centric working style Well-developed social skills and cross-cultural experience (ability to operate within a global team environment / work within global virtual teams) Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
