PSA (Protection, SCADA, Automation) Engineer - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Fully Remote
We are seeking an experienced PSA Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team. You'll be supporting and maintaining ADMS software, which helps electric utility companies manage power grids - especially during outages, storms, or everyday operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Installing and supporting ADMS products (like PowerOn Fusion and PowerOn Advantage). Helping customers fix problems in areas like:
- Power grid applications (DMS, OMS, Storm tools, etc.)
- SCADA systems (used to control the grid)
- Interfaces and dashboards. Working with both electric transmission and distribution systems. Fixing issues with systems running on Linux, Windows, and databases like Oracle and Cassandra. Troubleshooting network-related problems (IP, DNS, routing, etc.). Following industry standards (like NERC CIP) to keep systems secure. Key Skills You'll Need:
Experience using or supporting power grid software. Basic knowledge of electrical grids (how power gets from plants to homes). Comfortable using tools like Linux, Oracle, SQL, and Windows. Strong communication skills - you'll speak with customers regularly. Good problem-solving - tracking down software, network, or grid issues. Contract Details:
