Job Description
This is a QA position in a fast-growing, young, and dynamic engineering center. The development teams work fully Agile, following a DevOps approach, in a startup-like environment, but inside a well-established company. You will be involved in implementing the QA process throughout the development life cycle of the software development team with particular responsibility in Creating Automated Test solutions for the developed software. Our tech stack is mainly based on Java and it includes Spring, Angular, Python, Selenium, SQL and No SQL databases, Docker containers, public and private cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, Bosch cloud). We use micro-service architectures to build fast, responsive, and scalable solutions.
What you do:
- Designs, develop, and maintains automated test scripts cloud solutions ecosystem;
- Actively participates in the development and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks and harnesses;
- Helps and mentors other members of a team from a test automation perspective;
- Analyses system requirements and defines automation scope at user story level;
- Performs test automation executions, identifies the failures root cause, and compiles reports to stakeholders;
- Adheres to test automation best practices as defined at the organization level;
- Identifies defects based on test executions results, submits them in the bug tracking tool, and tracks them throughout the defect life-cycle;
Know-how:
- 5+ years overall software testing experience;
- 3+ years test automation experience;
- 2+ years work experience with JAVA / Python;
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar;
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git;
- Hands-on experience in using test and defects management tools (JIRA);
- Very good understanding of Test Automation Design Patterns;

- Very good communicator, capable to connect the various stakeholders;
- Excellent at prioritization, time management, excellent follow-through skills;
- Strong team player;
- Passion for new technologies and innovation.
Languages spoken:
- Excellent written and spoken English; German can be an advantage:
Nice to have:
- TestOps experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Message Queues);
- Performance testing;
- Web Services/API testing (REST);
- Test Automation Architecture;
- Design Patterns;
- BDD: Cucumber, Behave;
Qualifications
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable;
