Description
Prepare and perform tests and measurements in the WRC located in Test & Validation lab ▪ Retrieve parts to be tested and mark them for identification (e.g. bar coding, engraving, stamping) and register the claimed parts ▪ Mechanically process parts for test if required ▪ Prepare and store parts for temperature or aging conditioning if required before test ▪ Analyze test diagram and procure or build all necessary devices and accessories ▪ Prepare piping, cabling, fixtures and equipment integration for the required measurement ▪ Set up test equipment parameters according to requirement ▪ Take all safety measures before and during the test and stop the test in case of safety feature malfunction ▪ Run the test and inform the other WRC engineers or the supervisor in case of any abnormality ▪ Take basic troubleshooting actions in case of equipment failure or malfunction ▪ Document any change in test setup ▪Report the test results in VQTS ▪ Fill in test measurements and parameters in the test forms ▪ Perform preventive maintenance actions on test benches and equipment ▪ Respect 5S standards and perform 5S actions in the working area ▪ Inform the supervisor in case of shortage of fuel, consumables or spare parts ▪ Propose new designs for fixtures or test setups ▪ Suggest
