All the features are created by using new technologies and the best practices around the process of software development. What role will you take on a team? We are currently looking for experienced talents who would like to join our R&D group and work with us to solve complex problems in a simple way! As a product company we are looking for long-term cooperation. Your role as Tech Leader requires quality engineering experience to be a natural team player and empathetic leader with a desire to motivate, develop and support a team of engineers. You will spend your time mostly on: - coding new features (~60%) - maintenance and bug fixing (~20%) - internal meetings and analyses (~15%) - recruitment and administrative tasks (~5%) Your responsibilities: Take an active part in development cycle (coding, code-reviewing, writing unit-tests)Lead the engineering squad, providing technical leadership Build products, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliabilityTake care of broadly understood good practices and the quality of codeTake an active part in creating a technological development roadmapControl technical debtKeep improving the entire software development life-cycleAssist Product Managers in the process of technical analysis to define product backlogAssist in recruitment and development of other team members Our expectations: Have 5+ years of experience building modern PHP applications in a commercial environmentHave 2+ years of experience on similar roleKnowledge of PHP, MySQL, Git, Docker, RestAPI, Redis, Laravel (or any other modern framework), RabbitMqWork in accordance with the SOLID principles,Experience with architecture and software design patternsHave good interpersonal skills and fluent in English (B2 at least)Have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of software development life cycle and deliveryUnderstanding of Agile methodologies (mainly Scrum and Kanban) Would be your advantage: Experience with WebSockets, GraphQL, Angular, NginxSecurity expertiseSports rules knowledge How do we work? We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring is our daily bread. We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code. We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks, and use OKR’s in every quarter planning. We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners). We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from the office in Katowice (no dress code).
