Radio Optimization Engineer in Bucuresti

Overall Purpose:The Radio Optimization Engineer is responsible for validating and optimizing the service and performance levels of 4G/5G mobile network in various scenarios including new sites rollouts, Swap, and capacity expansions.Key Accountabilities: Delivery excellence:In-depth knowledge of Radio access technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR)In-depth knowledge of Radio Performance analysis and troubleshootingExperience in VoLTE troubleshooting and optimization (latency, SIP protocol & MOS)Experience in LTE/NR throughput troubleshooting and optimizationExperience in Capacity Optimization and Load balancing algorithmsExperience in Handover parameters, events, and troubleshootingExperience with OSS Management Platforms such as U2020Experience with Drive Test tools post analysis tools such as Assistant and XCALGood knowledge of mobile network architectures and ability to work with other teams to troubleshoot E2E issuesExperience with performance reporting and benchmarkingStrong knowledge of planning mobile radio networks.Experience with radio cell parameter planning including but not limited to, frequencies, neighbors, power, tilts, and load balancing.Experience in various planning tools such as ATOL and iBwaveExperience in testing, validating, and deploying new radio featuresQuality Assurance:Ability to function as per QMS (quality management system) proceduresAbility to perform Quality Control processes in accordance with set guidelinesEnsures quality targets laid out are met for the processes ownedOther:Maintains close relations with third parties, like vendors, to be able to monitor the progress of reported problems, known caveats, newly available features, software upgrades and hardware products. This is to be able to foresee possible conflicts and improvements to operational services.
