Confluence (advanced) JIRA (advanced) Subject matter expert (Release train engineer) - IT Operations In BEC’s offices in Warsaw or Lublin, we’re looking for a SME with a burning desire for agile leadership methods and a strong drive and/or project management skills. The candidate will report to the Product Manager of the IT Operations area. The product management (PM) department is a part of the IT Operations area and is responsible for all demand processes including prioritization, roadmaps, and stakeholder management as well as a transformation of the ways of working in the IT Operations area. The team consists of SME’s, Product Owners, and a Product Manager. We are very focused on delivering what we promise and do an effort in planning. In this SME (RTE) role your focus and responsibility will be on driving the transformation into new ways of working and to focus on relentless improvement of agile practices and efficiency across all teams in the IT Operations area. You must expect some travelling to Denmark, around 5-15 days a year. Primary task and responsibilities include: Lead and coordinate tasks across the IT Operations, like: Transparency on execution efficiencyFacilitating agile events Involving all relevant roles on events to ensure coverage of development, maintenance and operations Facilitate everything related to the IT Operations Heartbeat Planning (Scaled Agile setup) - before, during and after Handling the areas compliance with BEC’s Delivery Process Promoting agile leadership and methods within the area by coaching leaders and teams in Lean-Agile practice and mindset Drive ‘relentless improvement roadmap’ in the IT Operations area Reduce dependencies and handling program risk together with scrum masters and managersImplementing new ways of working, including delivery processes in the PM team and other teams in the area Drive and coordinate area wide tasks – with a focus on delivery efficiency and process optimization To succeed you will have: Knowledge of and solid experience with scaled agile processes, e.g., experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar role and working in a scaled agile setup To be an effective communicator and facilitator To be a skilled facilitator who can empathetically, effectively, and with an overview lead others through events, meetings, and workshops To master design thinking so you can deduce the essence of complex situations, create simple concepts, and bring them to life in the organization Experience as an agile coach and/or Program management - perhaps in the financial industry is an advantage Experience from a large organization Experience working with Jira and Confluence To be motivated by finding solutions – also in challenging situationsWith colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally On top of that preferably you have an educational background at bachelor or master level within management or IT. Your leadership style is far more coaching and engaging than controlling, and you live out and believe in the value of 'servant leadership' and understand the importance of execution. At the same time, you have great courage and are happy to challenge the organization - always with respect for the level of maturity and other priorities.
