Remote Performance Quality Engineer in Constanţa

At Kingfisher, our purpose is to make home improvement accessible for everyone. In 2017 we opened a Global Business Services (GBS) Centre in Krakow, these roles will form part of the greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology within Kingfisher working in tandem with our global colleagues. A Performance Quality Engineer is required to join and play a major part in this change taking a leading role in driving the design and implementation of standards while ensuring the relevance and quality of the testing performed, both internally and by partners, into what is becoming a more and more complex landscape incorporating in-house and partner led developments alongside SaaS based applications. Responsibilities: Analyse the application/hardware under test, the performance testing requirements and the project acceptance criteriaDesign test scenario(s) and produce project test plansDirect partner resources in executing approved test plansBuild and test performance scenario(s)Execute the tests, collate results from the performance test tool and produce analysis reportsContribute to performance bottleneck identification and resolutionResponsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures in relation to security and quality best practice Requirements: Have a strong understanding of performance test principlesHave a deep understanding of the performance test project lifecycle and deliverables Considerable proven track record in performance testing Knowledge of multiple performance testing tools (such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling etc.) along with extensive experience using the LoadRunner family of tools Integrating Performance Tools into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab) Technical Experience using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana) Technical Experience performance testing deployments/instances on AWS, Azure, GCP & KubernetesUnderstanding of data requirements and methods of generating that data Experience of multiple platforms and environments in more than one industry sector Understanding of the challenges of performance testing internal, SaaS and hybrid application landscapesExperience of working directly with internal clients/teams Experience of interfacing with, and directing, partner teams and resources
