The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially-minded Cluster
Group & Pricing Analyst to join our Cluster Revenue Management team.
This is a specialized role designed for a professional who thrives at the
intersection of data science and hospitality sales.
You will be responsible for optimizing the profitability of
our extensive group business across two distinct properties. Your mission is to
ensure that every group inquiry is priced with precision, tracked with
diligence, and reviewed for maximum strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Pricing & Quotation
Lead the daily operation of the IDeaS Group Pricing Module, evaluating inquiries to determine the Minimum Acceptable Rate (MAR) and optimal price points. Conduct detailed displacement analyses to balance high-volume group business against transient demand, ensuring the highest Total Revenue impact. Provide the Sales team with data-backed pricing recommendations and "reasoning" to support successful client negotiations. 2. Pipeline Management & Follow-up
Maintain a rigorous follow-up process with the Sales department on all outstanding quotes to improve conversion speed and data accuracy. Monitor group "wash" and pickup patterns in real-time, adjusting inventory blocks to release unused rooms back to the transient market. Ensure all group statuses (Prospect, Tentative, Definite) are updated daily to maintain the integrity of the revenue forecast. 3. Strategic Group Reviews
Facilitate weekly Group Review meetings with Sales and Revenue leadership to analyze the 90-day pipeline and identify "need dates." Perform post-stay evaluations for major groups to compare actualized revenue against the original displacement model. Identify trends in group lead times, source markets, and price sensitivity to help refine the group overall strategy. What We Are Looking For
Technical Expertise: Previous experience with IDeaS G3 RMS is highly preferred. You should be comfortable navigating complex software and interpreting algorithmic outputs. Analytical Rigor: A strong understanding of revenue management KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, MAR, Displacement). Operational Excellence: The ability to manage high volumes of data with extreme accuracy. Communication Skills: The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for the Sales and Operations teams. Experience: 2+ years in Hotel Revenue, Reservations, or Group Sales Coordination.
