EPAM is selected as the single partner to set up this tech hub together with the client. The tech hub will be run in a BOT build-operate transfer model where both EPAM and the client will put resources in the hub. What You Have IT Bachelor or Master degree 3+ years working experience in back-end development (SFCC) Fluent in English (writing and speaking) Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams, including designers, front-end developers, product Owners, and other stakeholders Strong focus on quality & delivery excellence Proficient in using version control systems (preferred GIT) to manage code repositories, collaborate with team members, and track changes across different projects Strong understanding of responsive web design principles, including mobile-first development, media queries, and adaptive layouts to ensure optimal performance across various screen sizes and resolutions Skilled in analyzing and troubleshooting complex problems in SFCC projects Extensive knowledge and experience working with SFCC as a back-end developer. Proficient in SFCC architecture, data models, business manager, and pipelines Strong expertise in server-side development using JavaScript or SFCC scripting languages like ISML (Intershop Markup Language) and JavaScript Controllers. Skilled in building custom business logic and implementing complex functionality Proficient in integrating SFCC with third-party systems and services using APIs and web services. Experience with data import/export, order management systems (OMS), payment gateways, and inventory management systems Experienced in customizing SFCC to meet specific business requirements. Ability to extend SFCC functionality through customizations, enhancements, and integrations Knowledgeable in SQL and relational databases to manage and manipulate data within SFCC. Ability to optimize database performance and write efficient queries Skilled in optimizing SFCC performance by analyzing and improving website speed, scalability, and code efficiency.
