Job description The Microsoft Endpoint Management Specialist has the responsibility of maintenance and administration of Microsoft End point technologies - SCCM and Intune for OS and Software Deployments, Endpoint servicing for Windows and Office (Evergreen updates) and other endpoint management activities such as tracking compliance, enforcing policies etc. The maintenance and administration of the environment is required to be aligned to the business standards of enterprises. Role is also expected to handle transformational changes resulting due technology transformation or modernization. Support and Maintenance of Microsoft End Point management environments – SCCM/Intune;Manage the Endpoint technology environment w.r.to Global Software distribution ,optimization , Availability and Optimal Performance;Manage Software distribution , Patching and Compliance of end points in both Physical and Virtual environments;Configure and Deploy line of Business Applications as per requirements;Manage OS Deployments/Builds through MDT, Tasks Sequence or Autopilot as applicable;Manage Role Based access;Perform periodic reporting of key measurements such as patch compliance;Handle Design Changes/Transformation/Tuning of Build and Endpoint manager in line with changing Business requirements;Support Business As usual tasks - Incidents, Request and Changes;Maintenance of Endpoint technology updates /servicing such as SCCM upgrades as part of Evergreen process;Undertake environment optimizations and Service improvement such software deployment optimizations, improving compliance etc.;Extend Support for Implementation of CIS and Organization Security policies concerning to endpoint technologies – SCCM / Intune /Windows;Interface with customer workplace IT, field engineering and 2nd level support tracks;Manage the operational knowledge and documentation in the agreed formats and processes;Be part of technology modernization / transformation journey and contribute to technical implementation.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:Technical SkillsSCCM /MECMIn-depth work stream experience like Deployment, incident analysis, resolution, problem definition, analysis, and resolution of Deployment failuresIn-depth knowledge in Co-Management solutioning and enrolment across OrganizationDeep knowledge of SCCM and hands-on working experience in managing end points using SCCM on-premise environment Detailed Infrastructure knowledge including Server troubleshooting, design, and implementation experience on Configuration managerGood Experience in End Point ManagementGood knowledge of Windows operating system in relation to end point management functions – typically Software and OS deployments Strong Practical experience & concepts of Microsoft SCCM MDT tools for OS Deployments and Task SequencesExcellent troubleshooting skills w.r.to Software and OS deployment failures Experience with SCCM Current BranchKnowledge & worked on manual build & imaging for unattended installation for various device modelsKnowledge & worked on SCCM tools & utilities Day to day operational stability Ability to prioritize multiple tasksScripting experience like VB Script and PowerShellKnowledge in Application packaging is an added advantageIntune Administration Good knowledge of Subscriptions and licenses and managementExperience in managing Intune environment and administration of an enterprise TenantDemonstrated proficiency with: Designing and Deploying Microsoft Intune in an Enterprise environmentHands on experience in Deploying Windows AutopilotHands on experience in rolling out MAM and MDM solutions for enterprisesStrong Practical Experience & Concepts Knowledge on Creating & troubleshooting VPN/Wi-Fi ProfilesDevice Provisioning, Domain Management, Role Based Access controls (RBAC) Device settings configuration to enable Azure AD join (for Windows 10 devices)MDM auto enrollment configurations (for Windows 10 devices)Company portal Branding, Terms and Conditions setupWindows Hello for Business , Enrollment Restriction RulesService availability, Alerts and notificationsExperience in End device management for Hybrid AD and Azure AD based organizationsExperience in migrating AD Group Policies to Intune Policies ProfilesApplication Creation and Deployment/AssignmentManage Line of Business and Store applications – Upload, Configure and DeployApplication deployment status & compliance reporting Experience in troubleshooting Application Deployment IssuesSoftware Update ManagementSoftware Update Deployment in the traditional way using Intune clientSoftware Update Scheduling via MDM policiesGood Knowledge on Update Rings implementationGood Knowledge on Desktop AnalyticsUpdate Approval using Windows 10 CSPsPersonalBesides the professional qualifications of the candidates, we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
