Senior Accountant in Bucuresti

As a member of PTC’s accounting team in Bucharest you will be responsible for the General Ledger, group reporting and other daily processing functions. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Bucharest.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Update and maintain the General Ledger of one or more PTC’s European entities (banks, payroll, fixed assets, prepaid accounts, accruals, reconciliations etc.)Preparation of the monthly/quarterly reporting to our headquarters in the US according to US-GAAP rulesPreparation of local required tax declarations (e.g. for VAT)Preparation of weekly cash forecastsSupport audits and preparation of annual accountsWork with cross-functional teams on global finance initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies including Sarbanes Oxley regulations and other internal controlsAdhere to PTC’s policies and procedures as well as statutory regulationsMINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Degree in Accounting or related field required, Bachelor’s level preferred2-3 years of relevant accounting experienceKnowledge in international accounting principles and taxes (e. g.
