Analyze financial records, comparing current data with historical information. Provide insights based on data analysis. Verification and Reconciliation Verify and reconcile financial amounts to ensure accuracy. Investigate any discrepancies or irregularities. Perform monthly closings efficiently. Reporting Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports as needed. Customize reports for various stakeholders (e.g., management, and regulatory bodies). Data Collection and Centralization Centralize data for analysis and reporting purposes. Collaborate with other departments to collect relevant financial information. Maintain data integrity and consistency. Assistance to Auditor Support external auditors during audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations. Address any audit-related queries promptly. Your profile: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Prior experience in the accounts sector is essential. Proficient in financial software (e.g. Saga) and Microsoft Suite. Good knowledge of VAT returns and accounting processes. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately. Ability to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. Excellent communication skills. Collaborative mindset to centralize data and provide valuable insights. Meticulous approach to verifying and reconciling financial records. A keen eye for identifying discrepancies. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
