& Requirements Who we are looking for
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in tax compliance and statutory reporting, preferably within multinational environments
  • Knowledge of fiscal legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards (local GAAP)
  • A high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and a results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international team environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as experience with tax compliance tools and systems
  • SAP knowledge is considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
    • Your future role As a Senior Accountant with focus on accounting compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality accounting compliance processes across multiple Deloitte entities. The selected person will be allocated to at least one legal entity within Deloitte and will be responsible of:
  • Preparation and posting of journal entries (GL adjustments, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets), ensure accounting books comply with local statutory requirements and accepted policies and procedures (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel expenses, banking processes)
  • Work with different charts of accounts and their mapping and analytical structure
  • Prepare month-end close to ensure that statutory closing is prepared timely to enable submission of corporate reporting.
  • Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
  • Maintain communication and prepare reporting for INS and BNR
  • Actively involved in yearly audits
  • Support business professionals with different ad-hoc requests
  • Follow and keep track of all the projects allocated
  • Initiate continuous improvements to systems and processes to ensure optimum effectiveness and efficiency
