We also design policies and procedures that adhere to audit standards and conform to FASB and SEC guidance, as well as compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley section .Join us as a Senior Advisor - Team Lead on our DFS Accounting team in Bucharest to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you’ll achieveAs a Team Lead, you will be in charge with auditing transactions posted to the general ledger as it pertains to global DFS lease and loans portfolios, from a lessor's perspective. You will work across the business with multiple financial services teams to ensure the correctness of the P&L and Balance Sheet as it pertains to the DFS portfolios. You will also drive and lead the team across various transformational projects, acting as technical lead to the team and escalation point for complex deals or transactions.You will:• Manage the maintenance of the accounting system to ensure it accurately reflects the financials in relation to Cash transactions;• Review and approve business plans, accounting analysis, accounting reconciliations, journal entries and reporting conducted by team members;• Provide suggestions for improving processes performed within the team and drive departmental projects;• Assists team members in the determination of the appropriate process, policies and/or procedures to be used;• Act as functional area expert during the stabilization period post migration to new lease servicing tools as part of the Lease Transformation program (phased launch);• Responds to escalated complex deals or transactions;• Builds relationships with internal business partners on issue resolution, and resolve issues involving cross-functional teams;• Support, drive and run robust controls in line with SOX program - understands and is able to improve the control environment.Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements• 6+ years in a professional role - good understanding of advanced accounting principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field; • Strong working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing multiple systems, tools and procedures to accomplish job; • Ability to build deeper understanding of processes, procedures, customers and organization;• Seeks to develop and demonstrate leadership skills through practice and action;• Strong knowledge of systems and automation tools (including Excel - large and complex data; multiple systems of record); • Fluent in English, self-starter, learns quickly, and attention to detail.Desirable Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Finance; ACCA qualified; Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS• Previous experience working in a multinational corporationHere’s our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
