You help us predict future risks while working in an agile and innovative environment. Being part of the audit engagement team, you will significantly contribute to identifying issues and defining corrective actions that will impact important business decisions across Siemens Energy with focus on its now integrated Wind Power Business, known as Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. You will evaluate compliance with operational and financial guidelines and procedures, identify the root cause of critical operational or financial issues, assess the level of impact on the business, and advise Management on defined actions to mitigate and prevent identified issues in the future.How You’ll Make an Impact Perform (data) analyses to ensure that all risks are identified at early stage of audit planning. Perform the audit engagement in coordination with the Engagement Owner and use analytical skills to identify root causes of findings and mitigate improvement areas. Take full ownership and responsibility of assigned audit tasks and audit workstreams by understanding risk and impact of observations. Conclude and document audit observations and derive mitigating actions. Provide guidance to team members regarding report writing, executive communication, critical thinking, depth of questioning, interview preparation, and audit documentation. Participate in closing meetings with management as well as supporting discussions. Monitor the implementation status of the action plans derived from the conclusions of the audit and review the application of the audit recommendations. Act as a change agent by participating in forward-looking projects that provide assurance for critical business matters. What You Bring Strong past performance in academics (finance, IT, business, engineering, legal, mathematics, or others; CPA, MBA, or Data Analytics Master education desirable but not mandatory) 7+ years of experience (‘hot skill’) in at least one of the following or similar areas: Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Accounting, Strategy. Preference towards candidates that have worked in an international business setting, a Big4 accounting firm, consulting, energy industry and have experiences working and communicating with multiple cultures. Desire and potential to develop into future leadership roles within Siemens Energy as your next career step. Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 30%. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
