Embarking on a pivotal project focused on enhancing the existing Gerrit Code Review instances. This initiative is critical for ensuring high availability, minimizing downtimes, and maintaining security compliance for software production. This opportunity invites skilled professionals to contribute to a project at the forefront of automotive software development. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in elevating the corporate CI/CD environment through the optimization of the Gerrit Code Review instance. The project’s objective is to enhance the existing Gerrit Codereview instance while providing comprehensive support, documentation, training, and onboarding services to customers and internal personnel. What you will do Continuously optimize and enhance CI/CD processes for improved performance and scalability. Manage project dependencies and coordinate tasks for seamless execution. Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Provide training and support for Gerrit usage, covering basic and advanced features. Configure and maintain Gerrit for streamlined code review and collaboration. Manage applications on the OpenShift platform. Configure and monitor network security components, including NSGs, resource groups, and firewalls. Employ Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning. Expertly use Helm charts for containerized application management. Utilize Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for securing connections. Implement defensive programming and IT security practices for enhanced software security. Manage dependency and build systems while collaborating with source code repositories. Oversee deployment processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery. Support and operate highly available systems, monitoring both servers and clients. Maintain inline and pipeline documentation. Write unit tests, perform debugging, and handle code integration and building. Set up integration environments, CI/CD pipelines, data processing, and testing pipelines. Participate in the initiative definition process and review DevOps activities for feedback. Write infrastructure code and automation scripts to support development. Provide maintenance, support, and monitoring for distributed environments. What you need for this Proficiency (at least 4 years) in Azure services for cloud-based solutions and infrastructure improvement. Deep understanding of configuring and managing Gerrit for streamlined code review and collaboration processes: Knowledge of essential Gerrit plugins suitable for an Enterprise setup, their functionalities, and advantages. Knowledge of backend types usable for Gerrit setups. Expertise in setting up and maintaining Gerrit in a high-availability environment. Experience in managing multiple projects within Gerrit. Proposing strategies to mitigate issues and troubleshoot effectively within Gerrit setups. Capability to optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery, scalability, and performance enhancement. Proficiency in effective oversight and administration of applications hosted on OpenShift. Ability to write code/scripts for infrastructure automation and efficient provisioning using Terraform. Knowledge and application of defensive programming and IT security practices for software security enhancement. Advanced proficiency in English for technical discussions, customer interaction and support, and documentation. Advanced skills in utilizing Jira/Confluence for issue tracking, sprint planning, feature refinement, progress tracking, and workflow management. Advanced understanding and practice of Scrum/SAFe methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, system demos, refinements, and feature/story estimation.
