 We are looking for a proactive and strategic Senior Brand Manager to drive the development of our Henkel Consumer Brands portfolio in Romania. In this role, you will translate global strategies into impactful local initiatives that grow market share, profitability, and brand equity. You will play a central part in delivering innovation excellence and shaping how our brands win in the local market. 

What you´ll do

  • Lead and coordinate assigned brands or categories, working closely with cross‑functional teams (digital, trade marketing, sales, operations) and with regional stakeholders in Vienna/Düsseldorf.
  • Adapt and implement new product launches and relaunches, from business case localization and internal alignment to trade presentations and consumer activation.
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies, building communication and promotional plans that drive brand growth.
  • Analyze internal and external data (sales, market share, profitability, competition, shopper behavior) to identify growth opportunities and define corrective actions.
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing, and promotional dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop annual brand plans, activation calendars, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage marketing investments and track ROI to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Create regular business performance reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Conduct regular market visits to capture shopper and customer insights firsthand.

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Brand Management, ideally within FMCG, with a proven track record of growing brands and delivering business results.
  • Solid understanding of brand P&L, marketing mix and commercial drivers.
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong ethics, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
