01-Dec-2021 Senior Business Intelligence Developer ROM-Bucharest 36896BR Job Description Your Impact:You will play a leading role in extending and supporting our Business Intelligence capabilities across our organization. Working closely with business users at all levels of PTC, you will develop a strong understanding of the data needed to solve complex business problems. You will bring clarity and meaning to data by using various tools to organize, structure and visualize data. You will define new analyses and develop new reports that will streamline business processes and increase business efficiency. You will help deliver business critical metrics that are used by PTC business leaders attract customers, inform investors and meet regulatory reporting needs. You will also provide training and tutoring on BI tools and answer business users questions. As part of a larger BI team, you will also work to continuously improve our data and business processes.Your Team:This is an individual contributor role within PTC’s IT organization. You will be part of a team of talented, smart, high-energy people working together, worldwide, with a passion for putting the right data in the hands of the right people to enable smart decision-makingDay-To-Day:Analyzing data sources, including ERP, Cloud, CRM, MDM and other data sources Applying dimensional modeling techniques to define new objects for our enterprise data warehouse and develop the ETL processes to capture this dataWorking with business users to identify requirements, develop new analyses and new report. Facilitate discussion, platform demonstrations and/or provide trainingEvaluating new tools and new technologies and participate in rolling these out to business usersAssisting with continuous improvement for our BI systems by identifying improvement areas, contributing to architecture and design decisions, supporting development and testing and performing migration steps as appropriatePreferred Skills and Knowledge:Experience working with business users to define requirements and assess needs; able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.Strong understanding of dimensional design, SQL and data managementExperience extracting data from cloud-based data sources including ERP, CRMDedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to internal customersExcellent oral and written communication skills, both English and Romanian required.Preferred Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT.8-10 years of IT experience with a least 4-6 years of BI-related experience with a strong preference for individuals in a technical leadership roleExperience with at least 2 more of: Qlik, Oracle BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OACS), Informatica ETL, Hyperion Essbase, Informatic MDMPrior experience working in various roles as part of an Agile team a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast moving environment#LI-FF PTC Company Description PTC unleashes innovation with award-winning, market-proven digital solutions that enable industrial companies to differentiate their products and services, improve operational excellence, and increase workforce productivity.
