The Senior DevOps Engineer within Digital Integration is a key enabler of HEINEKENs Evergreen strategy. Integration is at the core of the D&T strategy, and will enable the HEINEKEN to connect applications, data and devices (internal & external ecosystem) in a simpler, cost effective, reusable and speedy way to enable the existing and accelerate the adoption of new digital solutions and business models. The role is focused on bringing DevOps practices in the world of Middleware Platforms. As Senior DevOps Engineer you will consult with management on the operational requirements of middleware, you will manage incidents and root cause analysis jointly with both internal and external partners, optimize configuration of integration platforms and you will oversee routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests. Visit our website: Heineken (heineken-dt.pl) Your daily tasks may include:Understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assessing the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurationsEnsuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standardsAnalysing incidents in the area of integration, determining solution directions, instructing support partners in the DevOps teamTaking part in problem analysis for integration related issues including issues with platform hosting, connectivity amongst othersOwning and leading the support process improvements and procedure improvements, bring structural and strategic improvements quality, efficiency, stability, securityAdvising Operating Companies, Programs and Product teams within and across portfolios and Functions on Integration related incidents and problems, answering questions about support proceduresEnsuring consistency of the overall integration platforms and keeps improving uptime of integration platforms, taking operational and strategic responsibility for the availability of the platformWorking with the Product Owner to understand, eliciting, analyzing, document and communicate program and platform/application requirementsParticipating in the selection of new technologies, especially when it comes to “Ops” aspectsProviding guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process on the DevOps aspectsIdentifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve theseDelivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero-defect cultureParticipating in all the team Agile ceremonies: daily Scrum meeting, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, and Sprint RetrospectiveMentoring, coaching, guiding fellow team members of the scrum team, DevOps guild and other Digital Integration members, especially on the topic of DevOpsAdvising key stakeholders on Integration related issues – drive root cause analysis across the network, back-end systems and integration platforms You are a good match if you have:Bachelor/Master’s degree, Technology Specialist (Engineer): in Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studiesMin 3 years of hands-on experience as DevOps engineer, min. 2 years Team lead level, experience, and 7+ years of IT experienceTechnology experience for example: API Connect, Boomi, Solace, SAP CPI or similarA strong technical background with experience in middleware solutions and hybrid integration landscapesExperience with the multiple Integration platforms, such as ESP, iPaaS, API management, Event brokers, etc.Experience with networking administration, close collaboration with global Cloud and Hosting team, and Global connectivity teamTroubleshooting problems with root causes in networking (connecting), hosting and deploying enterprise grade applicationsExperience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid and round the clock release cyclesPreferably experience with working in an Agile environmentExcellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical peopleAnalytically and quantitatively strong, highly structuredIs a team player and is able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensusBe able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of othersAbility to work in teams and work dedicated for a team
