Who we need? 7-10 years of work experience building, scaling and maintaining production services , and understanding of how to compose a microservice or serverless architecture . 2+ years of experience architecting and designing distributed systems, with deep knowledge of how such systems are maximized for performance , availability and fault tolerance, and properly instrumented for monitoring health and readiness. Good understanding of various communication protocols, particularly REST and gRPC . Good understanding of asynchronous event processing. Must have RDBMS familiarity, with real experience with database design and queries. Ability to build system architecture and make judgments with recommendations regarding technology solutions- Terraform experience expected. Solid background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines ( Gitlab preferred). Strong background in Cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS . Kubernetes and Terraform experience is required.  Working knowledge of various SDLC methodologies, including Agile . Excellent communication skills, team-first mentality, mission-oriented, humble, positive attitude, great composure under pressure.  A hands-on, thought leader . Deep background working in partnership with other teams within the organizations such as Product, Operations, Support, and Development. What you’ll do? Work in a team of 5-6 DevOps Engineers, a cohesive group of Engineers in a global setup. Report to the Head of Infrastructure on implementing the long-term product roadmap and infrastructure modernization, supporting successful releases, managing resources, and providing technology solutions to a varied group of engineers. Provide structure to Dev teams managing Big Data, Kubernetes, serverless architecture, and build automation. Be able to write and build automation, production support escalation, emergency hotfix support, and make consequential decisions under pressure. Help support the teams of DevOps and Dev engineers. Work closely with data of various forms (structured and unstructured), blockchain data, pricing data, crypto asset data and be able to support the most efficient technology approaches for ingesting, managing, distributing, and securing data. Work with the team on maturing development practices, assisting with technical initiatives, and contributing to the long-term vision of the wider Engineering department.
